Diseño y validación del Cuestionario PERCOPA: instrumento para evaluar la percepción de adolescentes sobre el control parental

El estudio se centró en desarrollar un cuestionario válido y confiable para medir la percepción del control parental en adolescentes. La investigación se llevó a cabo con una muestra de 535 adolescentes peruanos, con edades comprendidas entre los 12 y 22 años. Este instrumento se estructuró en tres dimensiones (Control Conductual, Apoyo Parental y Control sobre el uso de Medios Tecnológicos) y 23 ítems, el cual fue sometido a un riguroso proceso de validación, empleando técnicas como el Índice de Validez de Contenido (IVC), Análisis Factorial Confirmatorio (AFC), Análisis de Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) y la prueba de fiabilidad de Alfa de Cronbach. Cada ítem obtuvo un IVC superior a 0,7, y el análisis de KMO produjo un resultado de 0,963, indicando idoneidad para realizar el AFC. La fiabilidad, evaluada mediante el Alfa de Cronbach, fue en general de 0,947. Se concluye que el Cuestionario reveló ser una herramienta válida y confiable para evaluar la percepción del control parental desde la perspectiva de los adolescentes.
