Abstract

The study focused on the analysis of the application of restorative justice as a tool for the social reintegration of adolescents in conflict with criminal law. A bibliographic documentary analysis was applied as a research methodology within the search engines Scopus, Redalyc, SciELO and Google Academic, the articles found were recovered through the following criteria: a) original or review publications with public access; b) resources related to the topic under study; c) disclosed in English or Spanish. A total of 952 articles were found that met the primary search criteria, then the selected keywords were applied, having a total of 50 documents analyzed which allowed the identification as categories: a) interdisciplinary factor for adolescent intervention; b) socio-educational support; and c) application of family care programs. As a primary outcome, restorative justice is an innovative paradigm that seeks to repair the harm caused by conflict, promote accountability and reintegration, and build safer, more cohesive communities. It was concluded that restorative justice has a substantial influence on the social reintegration of adolescents who have committed infractions.
